That sucks. Not sure about NY. My friend got his car repo'd in Calif., and he had 3 days to pay the outstanding balance, or they would have auctioned off the car. And then, he could have still owed money on it. Good luck...

find out where it is located, and pay the bill. Try not to have that happen again
