When you are sure and confident that your family members are neither communal nor narrow minded but simply bothered on loosing their respectability in not favouring any of you do anything that will not be accepted in the middle class-society.
In what way the acceptance of the middle-class society is required? Are you both financially secured? If so get straight with the blessings of both your families. That does not matter on your situation that you are respecting their emotion and arguments. Moreover, if you sincerely and truly hope to maintain that you are really in love and want to live with him your whole life, you should get married with him and also by that you need not have to loose your family. Be consistent in everything!

Priya, I like your thinking you want a solution to justify both sides. The society is something which you need not worry about because it doesn't take much time to adapt to things.

I am concerned of you as you both come from different cultures. How much alike are you?. How much of culture can you sacrifice for each other. Initially these things may not seem to be so important. When you have to adapt to things every new adaptation will lead to friction. If this continues you will find yourselves in a situation where he has to take up your culture or you have to take up his. Either of which will not leave you satisfied.

Love is not a degree of liking it should be the degree of compatibility. The more the compatibility the smoother and merrier the relationship.
THINK ABOUT IT TOGETHER.

You need to open your your eyes (rather mind). Don't be blind in love. There is lot of difference in practicing Hinduism and Islam. Try practicing Islam for few weeks and see where you find yourself. You will have to be accepted in their religion. They won't except you untill unless you convert to Islam. Do you think your children would be free to practuce any religion they want.?? Even if its not, there are going to plenty of occasion where your family memebrs have to get together. Do you see them getting along with each other. Is your boyfriend open minded who won't ask you to change the religion and believe in Hindu religion too. Is his family open minded. Think about all that and then take the decision. It all looks simple and easy going before marriage. After marriage everything changes.

If his family and him are open minded and won't ask you to change religion then talk to your family and see how it goes. One of my friend had Muslim boyfriend. He was very open minded but was asking my friend to change religion and all that. They didn't go far in their relationship. If you love and respect other person you don't need to change religion or yourself or culture.

If you both can respect and love each others culture and religion then go ahead. Take your parents in confidence. Talk to them.

Love is really blind so open your eyes and then take decision. After marriage there would be more things in life then just Love. Trust me.

that isn't purely the epitome of intellectually laziness, yet intellectually cheating as properly. the actuality which you do no longer think of they are distinctive, or do no longer think of they could desire to be seen as distinctive, does no longer substitute the actuality that atheists ARE distinctive from theists in many approaches. they are distinctive from Buddhists. Christians are distinctive from Muslims. in the event that they weren't, they does no longer be killing one yet another every day. people who think of rationally do no longer see issues the way they like to ascertain them, they see issues the way they are literally. a great style of creatures have 2 eyes, a nostril and a mouth, yet there are nonetheless appropriate dissimilarities between them.

First try to convince the one who is very close to u in ur family and then through him/her u convince ur parents when they are in a good mood.
My advice as a boy to u is first of all know the mentality of the person whom ur loving and then if he is good u convince ur parents.Otherwise try to forget ur boyfriend but please hurt ur parents as they are the only Gods who are visible to us.
Take a good desicion.ALL THE BEST.
