That American's come together and people find themselves back in church. 3 months later, they find themselves back in sin and strife with one another. Amazing, that when God lifts his grace and an attack happens on our country, and then during the grieving process, we turn our backs on God again. I'm afraid of what the Lord will allow the next time around. . .

I was 19, truck driver in the Army stationed in Germany when it happened .. so I was totally freaked out and scared for my life ... being that far away from my home and family .. we were locked down on post and security went nuts ... we had guards on every corner ... Military Police escorts through German cities for our trucks ... and we had to go to Poland for 45 days .. to train .. for war .. nice huh ... !
While we were in Poland we were locked & loaded with live rounds in an ex-communism country that didn't like Americans too much .. we got spit on and kids were throwing rocks and rubble at our trucks while we drove through their tiny towns ... !
Well I don't want to bore you anymore with my story .. but I guess what I learned the most is :
RESPECT & HONOR
I felt what it was like for our past soldiers that fought before me ... and what they must have seen and been through ... it opened my mind about a lot of things ... there's a whole other world out there and most Americans take our country for granted ... America is just as vulnerable as any other country ... if it wasn't for our Military ... !
It really pissed me off after the whole Sep. 11th thing .. you saw nothing but flags, stickers ... shirts ... etc ... I want to know why it took something like this for Americans to get off their @sses and show support for their own country ... it took 1000's of people to die just for some people to show PRIDE ... or even be a little more courteous to others .. I noticed how people on the streets were treating each other differently ... I feel that we should ALWAYS treat others with respect no matter what ... and I'm am truly honored to say I served in the Military for my county ... !

That's a good question well I think what you learn is that no matter were you are in this world you not as safe like you think you are. And that anything could happen but you never know and that's makes life the way it is.

I've learned that the average American takes their Constitutional rights for granted and still does.
