Just explain that you wear a little bit to make you feel better about yourself and to improve your confidence.
There are also some types of makeup which are almost invisible (guys especially are rubbish at spotting stuff like this). If you curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, then use a clear mascara to set the curl, you will have sexy, fluttery lashes which will look natural.
For your skin, try using tinted moisturiser to give you a healthy glow without the heaviness of foundation, and a coverstick concealer to cover any blemishes you may have. A small amount of clear gloss dabbed in the centre of your bottom lips makes your lips look fuller.
Hope this helps! take care x

you're only eleven, so i think your dad and step dad have a point, you're really still a child, even though you probably don't want to hear that. still, try to explain to them why you want to wear it, and listen to what they have to say to you. that way, you can be sure that you can all trust each other in your family, and you might be able to achieve a compromise. is there a mom anywhere in your family set up ? if so, you might be able to try on her make up when you see her, a lot of girls start experimenting with make up that way. if not, try for the compromise and if you can't achieve one, the best thing would probably be to accept what your parents say on the matter, they want the best for you. in a year or two you'll be that bit older and it may well be that they'll let your wear make up then because you won't be a little girl anymore but an adolescent. :-)

obey your parents. it's one of the ten commandments. and trust me, 11 year olds don't look good in makeup. your skin is fine how it is. if you have zits, then i understand using concealer. but wearing anything more than clear mascara and chapstick looks like a clown. i don't mean to be mean, but it's true. wearing makeup that young can also cause problmes for your skin in a couple of years. like acne or wrinkles when you get older.

don't wear it evidently so much, start with a light makeup. and so your men can get used to it in time.

calm down. hold off, if you can. makeup can actually ruin your complexion. wear, like, lip stuff, maybe some mascara. keep it natural looking. maybe they won't mind that so much.
