A few simple things to try...
1. Does the power supply fan come on when you attempt to turn the PC on? If so, then its possible it's the motherboard (if nothing boots) or the video card is bad (if nothing is showing but the computer seems to boot. If not, then it's a possible bad power supply.
2. Disconnect everything from the motherboard (remember where it was hooked up and how) then reconnect everything. Strange, but this trick did fix my problem when my computer wouldn't boot. It turns out there was a bad hardware device (neon light) that was shorting out the load on the power supply causing it to simply not turn on for safety of the motherboard. This could be the issue too. A bad hardware device.
So when you reconnect everything, do the basics first meaning the RAM, power supply, video card, and hard drive. If the computer turns on, then you know it's a bad hardware device that's currently not attached to the motherboard.
3. If nothing stated above is working, it's possible then that the power supply, the motherboard, or even the turn-on switch to the computer is bad. The only way to find out from here on out is to replace devices and hope the first thing you replace is the correct one. This can be spendy obviously.

I assume you tried a different outlet or some other device works in the one your using.
Your comment "not come on" needs a little help in order for someone to help you.
If the pc powers up, the fan comes on (should be able to hear it) some PC's have a light in the front that indicates power is on - do either of these happen. I think if the hard drive is dead you get a blinking "-".

Sounds like the hard drive crashed during the transition or the power supply went out in the computer. You may just have to replace the internal power supply.

I had this problem once with a new pc, took it back to the store twice and it worked there but not in my house. Try changing your surge protector if you have it plugged into one and if not then move it and plug it into a different outlet.
I know it sounds weird but when I moved mine to another outlet, it worked. The outlet was good because I used it afterwards for a lamp with no problems at all.

Sounds like an old worthless PC. You can get a new one at a government surplus auction for $5.
