As an RN, I wonder where he heard that? Do his parents use that language? Does he watch television and see and hear that type of stuff? Does he have friends who are using that language? But, all in all, what I would do as a nurse is tell him that the language he is using is inappropriate and try to encourage other words that are nicer. But as a mother, I'd wash his mouth out with soap. So, I'm not sure which way you want to go with it... But I'd definitely address it with his parents. Does he act that way towards them? Often? Or is this just with certain people? At this age, he is still learning to push his limits and see how far he can go with people. He's probably testing you if he doesn't get away with it at home... Best of luck!

I'd grab him by his neck and say, "I'll tell you WHO I AM! I am somebody who can rip off your head and piss down your neck so quick you won't know what happened until after your funeral when you're little a s s is on fire sitting next to the laughing devil in hell who's pushing a hot poker up your anus. So, how about you give me a little respect and listen to what I have to say so you won't burn for eternity and your parents won't have to live a sad life without their 8 year old son."

I would be very tempted to slap his face or backside but as I've never hit anyone else's child I probabley would have to be content with threatening him with a beating and telling him to stop being a little b a s t a r d. I'm his aunt, but I'm sorry that I am, and that I wish I wasn't related to him at all. I would then avoid his company and hope that his parents have a good life raising him.

I would laugh, shaking my head side to side in disbelief and then I would go directly to his parent (the parent who hands out the harsher discipline) and inform them of this atrocity. I would then watch as the parent hands out the discipline to the kid simultaneously flashing a slightly detectable grin at the kid (making sure that the parents doesn't see me) to let him know that watching him squirm has provided with me such ecstasy. Am I mean or what?

Tell him, that was wrong and really unkind and never to speak to you like that again and that you are going to tell his parent's.
Funnily enough my brat of a daughter who is 7yrs old took a mad turn as she is tired and told me I was fat, stupid, bald, ugly, that she didn't like me, she hated me and she wished I wasn't her mother and I was boring and the worst mother ever and she wanted me to leave. Well apart from wanting to kick her head in I took a deep breath and said fine and ignored her and she went madder than ever because i ignored her she has just gone to bed begging for mercy and for me to talk to her. I have just told her she was horrible and unkind and has hurt my feeling's and she is now so very very sorry

That depends on what you mean by "talk to". If you are just being nice you should first introduce yourself and state your connection. Hi, I'm Sam, your brother's girlfriend. If he responds favorably, you can start a conversation, otherwise just back off. this kid obviously has no manners, so I would personally avoid verbal conversation with him.

Tell him to watch his mouth, set him in the corner. Then give his parents hell for allowing their child to be so disrespectful.

I'd say: "I'm your elder. Respect me."

I love your situational questions, Minkus. Have a good weekend!
