If so who are some of your favorite characters and why?

I am torn between Nynaeve and Lan AND Faile and Perrin..I guess because I can relate with them..

I can hardly wait for the next book to come out.

There are 11 books plus the prequel

My favorite character is Mat Cauthon because I think he's just ridiculous and funny.

Edit: Robert Jordan is supposedly quite ill and undergoing Chemo treatments so the final book which could be upwards of 2000 pages is way behind schedule.

I love those books! =D

I don't particularly like Faile either...in fact, I don't really like any of the women in the books, though Nynaeve is cool. =) My favourite characters would probably be some of the Forsaken...I find them interesting, Moridin especially. xD I generally like reading about the 'evil' characters in books. I liked Moiraine too, but only near to and after the 'incident'. Aand...the Aiel. I like them a lot - probably because they're just so different to read about.

I am anticipating the last book myself. Seems that Robert Jordan will make this book the last of the series, even if it is 1500 pages. I would have to say that Aviendha is my fav character, but all of the characters are so well written. I don't even like this genre of books, but now I'm hooked. Everyone I know that has started to read the first book also got hooked.

I would have to say it is Nynaeve.
I personally don;t like Faile. She does everything before she thinks
about what she is doing.
Wish he would write them faster. I am impatient to find out what is happening. I will of course read them all again once the entire series is finished.
I did hear a rumor that the next book would be out this October but so far haven;t found out anything about it.

hmmm, i think that nynaeve may be my favorite character. i like her personality. i also look forward to the next book, although i can't even remember what is happening. i'm gonna just have to read it all again when it is done, that way i won't have to wait for more books.

I was immediately intrigued by the Wheel of Time, however I dropped out at book 6. It has become far too boring and time consuming to read. The guy needs to conclude. He is trying to rival Tolkien and noone can rival Tolkien in the fantasty world. He is the master and he didnt need 14 books to do it.

Just finished my 6th, plus the prequel. I rather enjoy all the characters, good and evil. I would say Rand of course, all that he has to deal with in such a short time. That would be enough to drive anyone mad. enjoy them all
