In my day, when they first came out with the live album....They exploded !!!
People loved the fact that no one knew what they really looked like behind
the make-up. They managed to keep that secret hidden very well for many
years, until the "unveiling". They were a great feel good band, a great party
band !!

They did look like a bunch of wuzzocks, but I would'nt mind their dosh. Gene came over as a pillock on that school band thing they did -- Carl Perkins could have REALLY taught the kids how to rock.
