What she really needs is your support, let her know that you love her and that you are there to make her feel better in anyway. Massages work great too!

If you have your mind on sex try to get it somewhere else for a while if she is not ready. Sex is great but men are more demanding on women and their sexual tastes have digressed. This is a form of social slavery for women – some women who have grow-up in better times, are well aware of this degradation of society.
Some women would literally prefer to stay celibate and alone than to lower their self-respect and standards - they will actually give it up a life with a man and pass them along to the cheaper and younger women who think such things are a perfectly normal part of a sexual relationship. I do not know your personal details, but I do know that men digress quicker when it comes to common practice and what is considered acceptable in an intimate relationship. Refinement and chivilrary are things of the past –things technical and yet dirtier and more primitive too.
If she is the one stressed (either of you actually) do not under estimate the power of vitamin B complex. Sounds too simple, but so often it is about the simpler body chemistry. This age group needs to look at the body’s nutrients a lot closer. I am not a health freak myself, but I’ve seen this work for a lot of friends.
Doctors are very quick to put people on anti-anxiety/antidepressants for nasty moods, but the body and mind might just need what it is lacking – instead of something artificial. Vitamin B is simple and inexpensive.

I run a hot bath (my tub holds approximately 60 gallons of water) light a few candles, put on a calm CD (something soft) maybe turn my sound machine on to waterfall or ocean, get myself a cold drink, turn the lights out, and stay in there alone and just float and relax. When I get out of the tub I dry off, put on some baby powder, lotion, some soft pajamas, and I feel like a new person.

I knit and try to do other crafts that are productive. After you are done making something, you get that great sense of accomplishment. Or I talk my son (If it is during the day) for a long walk to the far away park.

I tip my hat to you for trying to help her and standing by her. The way I bust stress is to do my martial arts or clean house. It works wonders for me.

I excersize, I go for a bike ride, I type in a journal, I go for a walk down by the beach... I just get out. and do something... Staying in and dwelling on whatever is stressing you out is not going to solve anything.
