If it was a rock concert,then binoculars are fine. If it's an opera,then proper etiquette will require opera glasses.

No, but they are called opera glasses and places like Brookstone have them. (Small enough to fit into a pocketbook or jacket and just as powerful.) However I would check with your concert venue which may have their own rules. (We've all see some of the contracts that celebrities have....)

some will let you bring them in ,this is how we take picture I have a small pair of binoculars that is also a digital camera
