You say I use safflower and they still come. Pigeons LOVE safflower. In fact, it's one of the treat seeds that we use to get them to trap faster.
I don't know if you will ever be able to keep all the pigeons away, but you may be able to decoy them away from the feeder itself, if you use safflower on the ground and a smaller seed above in the feeder itself.
I don't know what other birds you're trying to attract so it's hard to suggest alternative foods like suet, etc., that pigeons aren't fond of.

It's a bird feeder, pigeons are birds. Remove the bird feeder if you do not like the pigeons.

Try sprinkling powdered Alka Seltzer. I heard the results are spectacular!

submit signs and indications with images of crows, pterodactyls, and Superman, with the international "No" diagonal bar in the technique each of them. you may want to be particular, or they basically received't understand.
