Ok she is worrying me about her skin her legs were perfect and after she had her baby she now has a dark line going up between her legs, from her butt to her feet the inside of her legs are lighter she wants to know what she can use or what it might be to get rid of it.

It sounds like your friend has a case of Hyperpigmentation: This condition is a darkening of the skin and is caused by an increase in melanin, the substance in the body that is responsible for color (pigment). Pregnancy causes excess melanin production. Pregnancy can cause all kinds of skin conditions to appear and some to worsen or get better. The womans body goes through so many changes it is very hard to say what it is for sure, she should go see the doctor and they can rule out anything bad. Good luck...

I have not ever heard of this happening before, I would like the best idea for your friend would be to contact her obgyn as it seems to have something to do with her pregnacy, I sorry that I can not give you any more info I hope that shs finds out anwsers soon, also you should try calling you local hospital most of them have an ask the nurse line which you possibly could get an anwser from!

I hope she at least calls the nurse at her obgyn's office. She will probably tell her to come into the office.
Her insurance company may also have a 800 number for her to call to ask questions.

she should definately go to the doctors. one bit of info i can give you is that when you are pregnant you do get a linkthat goes vertically up and down your tummy, and it can take up to 6 months to go away, with a few people's never disappearing.

does it look like strecth makes if it is then she can possibly use something mild like shea butter or coco butter just to start off with
