The substance of space had to be there in order to form the premordial mass from that substance?

What is this 'substance of space' besides an oxymoron?

Some cosmologists and some Creationists consider that perhaps space and time came into existence along with matter and energy, however it happened, and whatever was the prime cause.

Creationists, with Genesis 1:1, have "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." They have the who but not the how.

Big Bang has neither the who nor the how, just an idea of what it might have been like immediately afterward.

The best answer I can give is that all matter, energy, and space (basically everything we know) was contained in a very very small point. Also, it would be counter-intuitive to ask about what there was before the Big Bang, because time itself, as a parameter of our universe would have had to have been a result of the Big Bang. I know this is very hard to grasp, but essentially everything we know did not exist. This is distinctly different than a creation theory, which would state that everything was created at a certain time and place. Indeed nothing was created during the Big Bang, because it already existed.

Big Bang Theory is legitimate scientific theory because it meets the criteria for being theory. There is sufficient evidence to support the conclusions made by the theory which have experimentally been shown. Examples are:

Cosmic Background Radiation related to the cooling of space due to expansion

Good agreement on the order and time frame of the synthesis of elements that occured in our universe

The fact that our universe appears to be expanding

Also, Big Bang Theory is, like all other scientific theory, falsifiable by nature and could be experimentally proven to be incorrect. This theory is currently the accepted theory by most physicists.

The reason Big Bang is a theory is because it is scientifically unfounded...it is essentially like throwing a grenade at a pile of wood and building a complete house...you should look into the Theory of Irreducibly Complex Systems!!!

They actually think it was a cycle, u know , like a Universe before this one, all the mass was sucked into a blackhole or something and BAM, Big Bang, and not necessarily to find out what was there before the big bang we would have to see what is at the edge of the universe.
