If it's pertaining to education, the CPT stands for the College Placement Test. It's used to measure the student's level in the areas of english and math, and can determine whether a student needs to take preparatory courses before beginning college level classes.

CPT... is probably initials for something... To me CPT stands for computer. I had a cpt 107 coarse last semeseter in college at Purdue.
