Indian head penny year 1886 & i have a Silver penny year 1943

Do you know how i can find out how much they are worth?
Do you know where i take them?

There are two 1886 Indian head cents.The first variety has the last feather in the headdress point between i and c in America. Variety 2 has the last feather pointing between the c and a of America. Type 1 retails for about $4.00 in good to $50.00 in very fine condition. Variety 2 sell for about $8.00 in good to $75.00 in very fine. These are retail prices and your coin needs to be graded. Go to a coin dealer. The 1943 cent is zinc coated steel and unless it is in mint state, it is worth 10 to 25 cents retail. hope this helps

hey your silver penny isnt silver its steel. because during the war they used all the copper. so they made penny's out of steel.You should be able to look on the internet because then you'll see all the diferences in the values without going out
