Yes. Going on 8 yrs of marriage. Yes there are time we argue or disagree but it shouldn't end a marriage. It's too easy these days to get a divorce. IMO

I was married the first time for almost 30 years--not happy at all for the last five. I left because of it--he didn't understand that his constant critical, negative attitude was toxic. Newly remarried, and very happy now. Husband two is funny, fun, and respects me! I recommend staying away from control freaks--if you can't let someone just be themselves, let them go. I still think marriage is a great idea, if you find the right person. It has to be a partnership, though. As soon as either one of you thinks they are in charge, it's poison.

I've been married 20 years and for the most part I'm still happy. However, no one is happy 24-7 That's not realistic.

As long as the good times outweigh the bad - it's a pretty good marriage.

Just to let you know, about 10 years ago I met a guy and we had a great time, however because of our jobs we both had to travel, not together. So I had not seen him in about 3 years, then I ran into him and he had a girlfriend. Now 7 years had passed and I had just enough of travelling for business and I called him up and he was single (good for me!). To make a long story short we are now happily married and we are looking forward to getting pregnant. It was worth the wait!!!!

Been married five years last month and together nine. We have are moments, but I can't picture my life without him. If you give up every time something goes wrong then you'll never know how much better it gets after you weather the storm. We have weathered quite a bit in five years and are stronger as a person and as a whole because of it!

I'm not married but I have a couple living next door that have been married 52 years. Most of the time they can't seem to keep their hands off of each other. I watch everyday, them kissing before he goes to work.

Of course! When you're married there's so much to do! You can travel, wipeee!, talk, go eat, to the beach, take dancing lessons, ANYTHING! The fun about marriage is that there is no limit to what you can do with that person, go to a party, re-decorate your home. It's so much fun! What keeps a relationship rolling is to continuously do new things! That way you have a very healthy relationship with new things constantly happening! ~V.J.~
