Definitely in that dress!! (I think that Dick Van Dyke 's chimney Sweep dude character had a bit of a thing for her but it didn't go any further than a couple of wacky adventures and she had to take the Banks kiddies with her!!!)

Mary Poppins is a superior being! She's loved (Bert, Jane, Michael and the twins for example) but there's something blatantly human about losing ones virginity.

However; she says she's practically perfect. Could that be her one tiny imperfection? Does Bert sweep her flue better than any other chimney sweep? That's one that will have to remain unanswered!

Haha, what an awesome question! Why would you ever think of this?

Um...I think so, but only based on the era in which Mary Poppins is set. I get the idea that she and the chimney sweep (Bert?) once dated, but since it was the time it was, pre-marital sex was much rarer than it is today. Or, at least that's what they tell us...

Are you kidding? She & the chimney sweeper had a torrid love affair. He already had children with the neighbor's maid so kids with Mary were out of the question. After the affair ended, she was never able to repair her broken heart becoming a child-obsessed, bitter, bitter woman.

If you read the book it says so much more about her and it's a much darker story.
In the book she is actually quite nasty and is always telling the children off. She also has a habit of disappearing with Burt so I think possibly theres something going on there.

No
The Edwardians were a bit naughty but discrete and she was very familiar with Bert

lol lol lol lol lol

I hope she secretly was a bit slutty. I mean, they couldn't show in the movie something like that... But she was a nice woman so I guess she might have had some discreet success with men.
