Yes, you can fry it - best thing is to just turn it over and let all the water drip out. Don't try to clean anything - just let it dry. Better chance of not doing more damage. Fortunately, keyboards are cheap.

If you are talking about a laptop you need to disconnect it from any power, remove the battery and do your best to sop up whatever liquid you can with tissues, towels etc. Leave the computer unpowered until any left over whatever has the chance to evaporate.
If you are talking about a desktop keyboard disconnect it from the computer and use the same steps above. Having a web keyboard can only cause problems and potential damage.

It will damage the keyboard if you didn't get out every drop and it stays wet. Do you have any kind of hair dryer lying around at work? If so, blow it dry. The keyboard may have to be replaced, but they are only around $20 at Wal*Mart.

throughout those 3 minutes, if one tiniest drop made its determination to make an electric powered short then the completed motherboard will be garbage. get rid of battery and characteristic a fan blow around the keyboard for some days. and characteristic the air hit the keyboard from yet another attitude after some hours. you in basic terms gained it and already spilling beverages on it. The tiniest drop has the great factor about destroying it.

Happened to me when my wife decided to clean my keyboard with a damp cloth! Took it apart, dried it out, but some keys would not function. So, just had to get a new keyboard!

Try to drain the water out as well as you can, but you don't need to pull the keys out or anything. The keyboard should be fine...if not a bit cleaner. :)

YES IT WILL, you will need to pull all the keys off, and use a low powered hair dryer, or let it Air Dry for best results.
