Of the myths or folklores etc... that you grew up hearing about? My favorite was my grandma always told us that you never rocked a roking chair with no one sitting in it because it would call up spirts form the past that have used the chair.

My mother always told me to never put a hat or a cap on a bed as it would bring bad luck.

One both my mother and grandmother told me was that when you see a sunbeam streaming through on a cloudy day, someone good had died and they were being called to heaven.

I remember hearing this a lot when I was a kid, and then it happened the day my aunt died when I was 13...

my grandmother told me you could never sew on stitch on a Sunday or when you get to heaven you would have to take them out with your nose................hum sounds kinda funny now tho
