Yes but only to the person who got them. This way there would be no messing around among people. If everyone knew who is giving thumbs up or down than there would be "chaos" and alot of people would start on focusing on such issues rather then answering questions.

Yes i think it should show who's doing it, that way i can find out exactly why ive had thumbs down when all my answers are sensible enough. But saying that, i wouldnt like others to know ive given them thumbs down. Cant win lol

I think it should be optional if you want people to know how you feel.

Maybe another option within that option to add a small comment?

AHHH So many options!! :-)

And what would I do if I found out? Me nothing but it would probably create opportunities for retaliation for some people. For example: going over to a person who have you a bad mark and giving them bad marks on their questions and answers.

I think it's probably best to leave it the way it is. There's enough general animosity going around as it is. This way people can vote without having to worry about getting nasty responses from people who didn't like the votes. Showing who did what is asking for unnecessary trouble.

I don't care one way or another. I never look at them any way. I don't rate best answers any more cause they don't give you anything for it. used to give you a point a rating and it was unlimited how many a day you could rate after level 6. they stopped it so they can for get me spending my time on it. something for nothing is not in the game even for them.

Yes. I would like to see who the hell keeps downrating me and "return the favor", so to speak.

But really, I think Yahoo should scrap it altogether. What idiots decided one day to make this once-helpful site into a giant popularity contest? I used to like coming here; I don't anymore.

Yeah that would be cool. If I found out who, I might send them a "thank you" message.
