i do oval track racing which is funded by myself. i wish to find any local companies to my area,birmingham who wish to get themselves known and advertised by sponcering me.this would be sign written on my car and seen driving round several tracks across the west midlands.

You may be able to find a small business interested in a full or partial sponsorship. It helps to know someone with a small business... it also helps if that business and stock car racing share the same demographic, especially if they are auto-related. Look at other stock car racers and see what kind of sponsors they have. Keep in mind you're not going to get Pepsi or Budweiser. You're going to get Jeff's Tire Shop. But a lot of guys out there don't have a sponsor...even in the big leagues.

Bodyshop repairers would be a start. The humour would not fail to impress a garage owner.
