There is no correlation between scoliosis and ability to have healthy, well-developed children.

In fact, one of my co-workers had to have the Harrington Rods inserted into her spine at a child. She has a wonderful and healthy two year old boy. She also had no problems with epidual anesthesia.

I have scoliosis and I had a kid just fine. The birth was fine too! I suppose it would depend on how serious your curvature is. Mine is a slight S curve. I did have a bit of back pain when I was pregnant, but I assume all women experience that to some extent!

Some scoliosis is hereditary. Some is developed later in life like mine. I have had 2 large children but cant tell you if my scoliosis was the reason for my back labor. I dont think you should let that or any other handicap stop you if you want children.

It is not hereditary!!! You can have children, it is just a curvature of the spine, it has nothing to do with um, woman parts, or anything like that.
