"What has changed in your life since September 11, five years ago?"
I have become paranoid.
Since 9/11, I have an overwhelming sense to be better prepared for future terrorist attacks on America.
I have food, water and medical supplies stock piled in an underground storage unit along with weapons and ammo buried around the property. Gas masks, chemical suits, GPS system, hand crank radios, plastic sheeting and duct tape LOL, generators, gas and cash all ready and waiting for if or when.
I continue to improved the quality of life because I still teach preschool children to use a napkin instead of their shirt, not to bite friends, say please and thank you and to question authority.

The only thing that has changed in my life is gas prices that we have to pay since that day. My husbands job that he was transfering to, had a hiring freeze put on it because of the terrorists. I don't live anywhere near NY, I feel for those who lost loved ones, but I still have to face the changes and effects by those who are murderers and theives and racists.

i imagine that kin individuals between east & west have deteriated contained in the previous 5 years. My ideas day after today, as they were 5 years in the past, will be with the threat free victims, no longer basically of the attacks on the dual towers, yet as well all who've died contained in the middle East, the Balkans, Iraq, London, Paris, Madrid, etc. We shouldn't demonise Muslims, maximum of whom are peace loving people, yet in my opinion any authorities or human being who shelters or helps terrorism in any form is an adjunct to homicide. i imagine Blair's help for Bush has incited racial hatred in Britain - therefore the London bombs. may all our Gods preserve and bless all victims of violence.

last night on PRIME TIME, when they showed all the children of those that were killed, it was a heart breaker, yes its changed my life, more thankful that more were not killed, because of the hero's that stormed the other plane, have you not wondered , what YOU would have done, if you would have been on the scene that day, run so fast, looking back, or stayed and tried to help. I think of it every single day

It is hard to contrast my quality of life due to the numerous variables. I will say that I am much more patriotic. Much more appreciative of our people in the military. Much more appreciative of the difficult job it is to run our country.

the slowdown was prolonged, so getting a job was no cakewalk. That was short term.
Long run - have grown older, probably wiser.
