Your baby will come out lighter than both of you... it takes months sometimes years for their final color to 'develop'. I agree that you never know who the baby will take after, but the chances are the baby will be somewhere in between yourself and your husband :-)

What difference does it make? The baby is going to be born so if it's very very dark or caramel colored who cares!!!!!!!! There are much more serious things to worry about with a birth than color!!!!!!

There is no way to really tell. I am dark skin & my husband is caramel color. Our son is caramel color. There is no dominance in skin color based on how you both look. You just have to wait & see & enjoy your baby no matter what. It shouldn't matter anyway.

There is absolutely no way to tell what color your baby will be. It could even take longer than a few months after they are born to find out. My husband is "yellow" light skinned, and I am white. So, our first son was born and he was fairly dark skinned with jet black hair that was straight as a bone. By the time he was one, he was whiter than me, and had blue eyes, and curly blond hair. Then our second son was born and he has eyes so brown that they look black and he is darker than my husband and has curly black hair.

You'll just have to wait and see. It's going to depend on which skin color is dominant BUT- sometimes you get thrown a curve ball and things don't turn out as you expected (probably somewhere between your color and your husband's). I'm sure you will love your child no matter the color he/she is.... unless of coarse they turn out like Barney the Dinosaur. Then I'd advise you to please- don't try again!!! LOL
Have a great day!!!

You never know. I know a little girl who is 2 and she is 75% white and 25% black and she has the most beautiful skin. It is medium dark, much darker than her mom's (who is the one who is half white/half black)
I also know some kids that are 50% Indian and 50% White and their skin looks 100% Indian. (but the have all the facial feature of their white parent!)
