I prefer being married... I've played the single game and have been played by the single game.
I don't miss being single at all. The crowd that I hang out with are all married so it's pretty much family gatherings and such... any fellas-nights only involve poker games or big-screen sporting events...
I applaud the single people... they need all kinds of CSI, FBI, CIA maneuvers just to determine if they're really dating the actual person in front of them.

I loved being single... And I loved being married... When I was single, I loved being able to do whatever I wanted, work hard and play hard, and not having to worry about anybody but myself. I loved having my own place and arranging things however I liked. It was fun to be single, for sure - but in the long term I want to be married. I love the companionship and the friendship that comes with marriage. I love the mutual support, and the warm feeling you get from sharing life with a special person. I love the thought of growing old together. I think, it's a blast to be single when you're younger, but as one gets older, companionship becomes more important than total independence.

It feels awkward at first. Your trying to avoid doing and not doing the things you did in your first marriage. Truth be known, I think if you have to wonder what it is like to be single or to remarry then your probably better off being single until your sure that you want to commit. If the marriage is not what it was anticipated to be then your miserable, wishing your were single. If you are single and where once married there is a good chance that you may never marry again...

You feel safe, secure, happy, needed, fulfilled, and with purpose in life. Much better than being single, although the single life gives you opportunities to do things you cannot or should not do once married. Who wants to have to hunt around for a partner? Single is fun for a while, but it gets real tired and leaves you empty in the long run.

I have been married 21 years. I love being married but I guess it depends on who you are married to. My hubby and I are best friends. We talk all through the day and meet for lunch during the week. We have 3 kids ages 24, 17, 15. We are more in love now than ever before. On our anniversary on Aug 3, he grabbed me and looked into my eyes and said, "I am so happy and I wouldn't change anything about the last 24 years." Sex only gets better too! I think if something happened to him I would die. I know the meaning of "Soulmate" and I think I'm one of the luckiest people in the world.

Well I was married for over 25 years and loved it at first then of course it went bad and now I have been divorced for 5 years and I LOVE IT!!! I sometimes miss having someone next to me at night or to share certain things with but, other than that I love being single. If I want to cook I do if I dont feel like it I don't have to, if I want to go somewhere after work I don't have to ask anyone I can just go and do whatever I want whenever I want... but, some people love being married more... I love being on my own............

Marriage is ok if you remember your vows and abide by them. Marriage cannot be one sided, one cannot give and the other one take. You must be able to communicate with one another. Married life comes in stages and it starts with passion, one must be able to handle the times after the passion has dwindled. You have a companion for life. Being single you don't, although there are some people that are single and have companions for life. but don't get married unless you are ready!

I love being married. I love my husband and our life. It feels like a warm bath about half the time. Warm, comfy, no waves, content and safe. The other half is divided between complete bliss and extremely difficult compromise. It's been awhile, and I'd say the longer we're married, the better/easier it is to share everything. There really are beautiful marriages out there, it's just that we get less press!

I feel that being single is best been there done that but if you find the right person marriage is great. You alway's have someone to talk to and go out with but like I said it has to be the right one. Your like's and dislike's have to be close and have to have a good sexual compalibility relationship. A lot of people like diffrent thing's so really get to know the person before jumping into marriage.
