im interested in getting something really good , esp. a detective game like xfiles...anyone know what are the best out there now? thanks

Ok, you asked for a detective type of game. I HIGHLY suggest you pick up a copy of the game Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon. Yes it's on Playstation 2 and it's THE best detective/murder mystery genre of game that I have ever played. And I've played a few....I'm Game Guy lol. There aren't many detective games out for the PS2. Mostly just cops and war games are the closest your going to get. Like True Crime, Rainbow Six, and Rogue Ops. Rogue Ops is like a high tech spy game. So is Spy Fiction, which I think is an okay game. It wouldn't hurt to try it out. Also if you interest in violent, bloody and gory type games, check out God of War. It's a epic mythology type game. I didn't like mythology, but this game made me appreciate. Long live Kratos!

I enjoyed the first x-files game as well! The second one sucked though! I would have to say that the most challenging game right now on PS2 is "Grand Theft Auto Vice City" or "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas". Look up the various cheat codes and have fun. Yes yes I know they aren't detective games but you won't be disappointed.
