If your divorce is final on Wed. You shouldn't really being concerned about paper work because it will be already filed once the judge passes the divorce. It will be filed in the county records. Once the judge signs the divorce packet that's that. However to answer your question, Wed. That day you can get copies of all of your papers and transcripts through the court clerk..

You may need to find out in the state if there is a law that makes you wait to get remarried. Needless to say my divorce took place on Dec 22 and I married my new husband on Mar 22 (I would of married him sooner but he was in another country - Soldier).

As soon as the courts have processed the paperwork. Can you call your county courthouse and find out when the papers will be ready? I think you should have them within a week or two, but you need them so that you don't end up accidently committing bigamy.
Good luck, best wishes, and I hope the papers are in your mailbox on Thursday!

I just got divorced also, I met somebody 4 months after I was seperated. We are getting married in November. But you can remarry immediatly after your divorce is final.

Buy the marriage license and when the final Divorce Decree is entered ask the Judge to marry you.

once the final papers are signed and the judge declares you legally divorced you can be married that day in the court house (if your state does not have a waiting period on marriage license)
