There is no land of Palestine and there never was. The land you are referring to has been Israels. The Hebrews took possession of this land, became a Nation, were taken captive and taken from their land, went back to find squatters (literally nomads) spread throughout their land. In a nut shell.

Palestine is the land of the Semites. The Semites can trace their roots back to Abraham, and his two sons, Isaac and Ishamel. The decendents of Isaac became the Jews, and the descendents of Ishmael eventually became muslim. Jews and muslims have always had claim to the land. There has been a history of wars and of resolutions that have left the land where it is today. When will the inhabitants of these landsjust realize that they are really all the same people, who just happen to have different religious beliefs, and get along together, peacefully?

There have been diffrent nations who practiced diffrent religions there.But formerly it was owned by BANI ISRAEAL ( the sons of Israeal) according to religious texts like BIBLE( New and Old tastment) and Holy Quran.After all Jewism used to be practiced 2000 years or so esarlier than Islam was brought by Mohammad.
When Jesus went there the land used to be known the land of Jews.
