Far from it.
As the commentators and the Studio were saying after the Andorra game, Crouch still has years to go until he retires. We will see the real Peter when we play strong opposition. Yes, its good to win, but it doesn't boost the players skill at all. And hes a long way off being the best England Striker.

I guess he is great. But he is not the greatest striker in England to have lived though. He's just prolly one of the greatest strikers of right now, I guess.

HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your absolutely joking right? Fair enough, he's tapping the ball in at the moment, but what else does he do on the field? He's only scoring against Mickey Mouse countries NOT against yer Brazil's, Italy, Spain, Argentina's - When he scores the winner in the world cup final against Brazil, then maybe i might start to agree, so don't get carried away !

Even as a Liverpool fan I have to admit that he is not. He is excellent, but not outstanding. His record is better than Rooneys so he is decent. He scored more goals in the world cup than rooney and out played him, showed much better poise, skill, will, character and skill. But even I have to admit that his record overall has been flattered by some appalingly weak opposition teams.

Not by a long shot.
That's why Peter Crouch doesn't score from range.

Gee, I hope not! He is an odd one, usually players his height are not as skilled controlling the ball and their main weapon is the head. Crouch is the complete opposite, very skillful with his feet but not so good with his head... probably because he is so tall that most passes reach him to his shoulder when he jumps.
