wheat bread is the best, but i do like toasted rye bread alot for a hearty sandwich. white bread just sucks. yuck. but italian bread or garlic bread is white and i like it alot. but it has a different texture than the typical wonder bread crap

well if its specialty white bread i agree its good!! thats because wonder bread is not really bread...its cat hair. i like rye bread for certain types of hot sandwiches - melts, reuben, specialty meats.. wheat bread is just all around pleasing. german dark bread is pretty good. you want to try a gnarly bread try live bread...ask for it at a speciatly/natural foods grocer, or in the health food section (refridgerated) at your supermarket. its alive so it has to be kept cold. warning - it does not really taste like read bread, but has a weird attraction once you have gotten used to it.

Wheat is my favorite, but I like rye depending on the sandwich. My mate likes white. Italian to make garlic bread to go with pasta.

i love rye. i like all the other breads accept white bread too. white bread is so boring. i also like pumpernickel a lot.
