I've been dating my girlfriend for two years, but I by no means am good with long distance, how do you make it work?

Keep a cool head about it!!!!!Don't let her know u are insecure about her being gone and if u are really feeling ya girl support her decisions as a woman. I woman looks for someone that is supportive and for her; not against her, selfish. If u both have access to internet, email her lil reminders of how much u care. It will not only let her know u care, but it will show her u are mature about the situation and are able to respect her dreams. By u voicing u not being good with the distance may push her feelings to Italy. Be careful how u say things. It's not really what u say, it maybe how u say it.

you've been with eachother 2 yrs--that's a fairly long time to ditch eachother over a semester...
My bf and I have been long distance more than together, and we've been together only a short time.
It can work if you trust eachother, maintain your self esteem, and don't give in to temptations.

make sure you stay in contact with her, call her everyday and just assure her that you still care i have a long distance relatonship and we talk every morning when i wake up and before i go to bed he has to call me which makes me feel closer to him, communicaton is the key of all relationship

I'm in the same boat, my girlfreind moved to missouri.
Just call her, not a shitload as to annoy her, but call her randomly and leave her messages telling you you love her and miss her etc. and things will work out.

Just call her everyonce in a while and since she's away try to learn some Italian and when she gets back suprise her with what you have learned.
