I am an INDIAN,and i am proud to be an INDIAN.I don't wanna know what others think,i know INDIA is great.If u r an INDIAN then u will know what is the pleasure of being INDIAN.If u r a INDIA then u must have studied in ur junior classes abot INDIAN history and the CULTURE.Me,u and every INDIAN are proud to be INDIAN.I love INDIA and don't care what other think about it.Be proud of ur country and the country will proud on u.

I am glad you are proud of what you are good for you. How does it matter to you what the world thinks?
Well Indians have a strong culture, values, good food, strong and stable families, they are going to be the human resources for the world by 2015, World over Indians are doing extremely well, employers like them because of their work ethics.

i don't think there could be something black and white about the opinion. India is certainly not seen as a developed nation and the west is not too aware of it geographically.
There are some unfortunate cliche's associated with India - excess religion and arranged marriages. You have to live through them.

Three things : Firstly, everyone should be proud of their own nationality, secondly do you have a choice and finally who cares if you are proud or not?

Personally it means nothing to me . . . What nationality does not mean you are a particular type of person (personality) it may have some influence on it but not totally define your being. This is kind of an inane question because it is based on bias and preference.

you havnt gone beyond its shores, the whole earth be one globe, man started angola, traveled to india to china to caucusus, to UK, east to N and S americas. what all in india u are proud of, every man in every country says tha same. india special for you good, but zambia special for zambian, iceland for icelandian, and so on. born and bred in a country , you are attached to its soil, and will be proud of it, tho there be nothing. one billion indians and not one olympic gold says it all budddy. what exactly are you proud of our country? come to me i will explain more in bed, kaaaaamasoooothra !
