in all programmes, accessories, entertainment, there was a program called sound recorder. it used to be on the desktop as well. since i didn't use it anymore, i deleted the shortcut, and now i don't find it in the programmes. i usually find it there even it's not on desktop. i swear i didn't delete it permanently. how can i get it back. the same happened with microsoft excel, i didn't find it in microsoft office, but somewhere else. in the same way, where can i find sound recorder?

go to My computer, C: drive and get to this folder:

C:\windows\system32
Find the file sndrec32.exe.

Shape your explorer so you can see some of your desktop.
Right-click and drag sndrec32.exe to your desktop and choose Create Shortcut.

Close the Explorer window, place the icon where you want it and rename it to "Sound Recorder"

All set.

get carry of Sony Acid professional. i exploit it and its the most acceptable so a techniques. you could substitute the settings so that you could list in line. that means that what ever sound that travels out of your sound card will be recorded. You wont loose any high quality or some thing. you should use a microphone yet i does no longer advise it.

Go to Start-->Run and type sndrec32 and press enter. That will start it. The executable is located in C:\Windows\System32
