One from about 5+ years ago jumps out at me, and that's Graduation Song, Vitamin C. A little more recently, Shawn Mullin's Lullaby has a spoken verse, but the chorus is sung.

Heck, there's an entire genre ("spoken word", someone mentioned Wm. Shatner) built around speaking instead of singing over instrumental tracks.

Arlo Guthrie did the song Alices Restaurant and he talks the whole song and it is very funny and based on a true story.

the R.Kelly song? about this girl that's married and he is having an affair with her and then the husband gets home and he is still there,and he is just like narrating the story instead of singing it?????........sorry just trying to help,i don't like R.Kelly either least of all that "song".
