I've been on tri ortho cyclen for 13 days and I've been under a lot of stress lately. Today I noticed a dark brown/red discharge (kinda looked like a blood clot). Is that normal or should I get that checked out?

It's fine. It's called breakthrough bleeding. It can happen for up to 3 months.

when i first started it, i was like that for 3 months straight (unless i was having my period that week). every now and then it happens and it will stay like that until i get my period. my dr said its normal. if it keeps happening after 3 months of first starting tho (cause it can take that long to get normal again) then i would see your dr. but dont worry. its not unsual. i've been on it for over 7 years now (maybe 8, i dunno)
