Since linksys is the most common router used I will go through they was to do it on a linksys router.

Open up your Internet Explorer Browser.

Type in 192.168.1.1 and hit enter.

A username/password box will pop up. If you know what they are type it in. If you didn't reset it to something else, type in Admin for the username with no password.

Click on the "wireless" tab.

Then click on "wireless security"

click "disable"

Go to the bottom of the page and click the "save settings" button.

All done.

You will need to go into the router's interface (usually has an IP address you can access it from) and disable it.
From that point if you are not sure - CALL YOUR ROUTER MANUFATURER because if you mess with the wrong thing you can hose your connection.

Go into the router config via 192.168.0.1 or 182.168.1.1 depending on router. Then go to wireless, and disable WEP

Enter the router's configuration. It should be under the wireless section. Look in the manual.
