No. I assume that you want to buy land on Mars hoping one day that it would be colonized and that land that you bought for pennies would be worth millions. It would cost millions, if not billions to develop the land on Mars. If you don't plan on developing the land, then you are just speculating. Also, there is no guarantee that we will ever get to Mars, what happens to all of the money you paid for land on Mars? If you did buy land on Mars, I would write into the contract that after 50 years if we haven't been to Mars then the person selling you the land on Mars would pay you what you paid in principal and interest, plus 6.5% interest on top of that. Of course, after 50 years, your money is gone, the company selling Martian land has declared bankruptcy and the people pointing at you and laughing are laughing at you, not with you.

NO not at all. I just love mother earth and want to be in such a position when Iam able to buy a piece of land in the richest corners of earth. This is the best planet and no other planet deserves to have a payment for some piece of land. :)

If I could, then it would just depend how much it cost. For example, if I could buy all of Olympus Mons for $10, I'd do it, because eventually that land is going to be worth a lot more. But the fact is, I can't. So far there are no laws saying people can own extraterrestrial real estate.

yes even the swamp in Florida people bought in the 60and 70 because that were scammed, made money after all that swamp land is now Walt Disney world Florida. And the stuff in Miami is now 200,000 plus an acre.
The government would have to pay me to build or do anything on my land and don't think that they won't figure it out how to get us there.

I would buy some land on Mars, because it's much better than Uranus.

No I wouldn't. Mars is for the blue bloods, thats where they came from to begin with. Thats why they have no rythnm because they are not in tune with this planet, but in Mars they are in sync. Deep!

No because I'm probably never going to Mars. It's like buying a star, it sounds cool but it's pointless.

No, because the potential for profit won't be realized in your lifetime and your progeny would profit more from cold, hard cash rather than mars real estate.
