Sounds like a problem with the fuel system. Test it by hooking up a fuel pessure gauge and turn it on. Do the same things you did before. If you lose pressure, you have a fuel problem. Check your fuel filter first. That would be the first thing to be the problem. If not that, check your fuel pump itself. If both are fine you have a problem with either a leaky or clogged fuel line, or it possibly may be improperly attached. Hope that helps.

you have a misfire problem
it can only be caused by 1 of these things listed here don't believe any other of the crap others have said
#1 pluged fuel injector
add 1 quart of auto trans fluid and 1 can spray carb cleaner to 8 gallons of fuel in the tank drive for 50 to 100 miles you should feel the difference
you can do this 4 times a year
#2 plugged fuel filter ---probably not on this car but change it anyway
#3 no spark to a cylinder ----- broken /fouled plug bad or defective wire or coil or a defective sensor at the crankshaft [probally not the crank sensor on this car]
#4 low compression on a cylinder if you drive with a bad injector long engulf it can burn a hole in the piston

try to isolate which cylinder is misfiring and you only need to test that one

a quality shop or mechanic can do this for you if your car is 96 or newer the computer may help you identify the bad cylinder but don't count on that as getting the codes read is only a place to start

it could be a number of things. you could spend allot of time and money guessing. you should have it scanned for codes. also an common but over looked area is the TCC switch. is the torque converter is staying locked up it would cause the symptoms you describe.
