go to craigslist.org - find the city you live in (or moving to) and then they have a link called housing/apts

check your local newspapers

ask at the welfare office

Where are you moving to? You have to do a search on low income housing in your area. I know there are a lot apartments now that have fixed rates for low income families. Also look for apartment names that end in Crossing. For example Chantilly Crossing or Stratford Crossing they tend to be low income. Other than that you just have to do a search on low income housing in the area you live in or are moving to.
