As one of those people who evacuated, and was finally able to see what happened to my home on the news, my re-action was this.....
This can't possibly be... shock.. thought I was watching a bad disaster movie. The people of my city can't be acting this way. There is no way that the country in which we live won't send immediate help. After a month and was finally able to come home for one day and leave again, to see the water still in my home and police from all over the country on every street corner, military vehicles all over, I was numb. Than the reality, and what do you do next.
