You get cat-butter which is good on toast.

Well, the cat would land on it's feet, since the toast is far less dense than the cat. However, it is likely that after landing, the cat would either break it's leg(s), (depending on how high the roof is), or just roll over on it's back to claw at something. In either case, the toast will eventually end up butter-side down.

Cats require the height of about a 7 storey building to turn in mid air, spread their legs wide to create the parachute effect and gain maximum deceleration from it. So if its at that height u will get a cat on the floor safe n sound with toast on its back.

If its significantly lower u will get an injured cat with toast on its back, significantly higher it will be dead cat with toast on its back.

Simple - 'cat' / 'toast' self righting would kick in and would result in the cat / toast spinning a few feet off the ground forever.

(Please double check your spelling - there are some real rude people out there who will make harsh comments)

I am a little concerned lest the cat fails to right itself and is injured. I suggest that you take the jump first, thereby creating a soft platform for puss. If you were mortally wounded, your remains would provide the cat with a rewarding snack.

Thanks for the laugh just imagining it has me in tears! I would think that the cat gets broken legs and the toast gets dirty.
