i know exactly how you feel. There is nothing more frustrating than someone forcing their opinions and beliefs on you. There just always has to be a right and a wrong with some people- and they always think that they are right, and everyone else is wrong. Why can't they just let others believe whatever they want to? It's not hurting anyone. No one is trying to take that right away from them, so what right do they have to take it away from you?

Claimants to religion are often very opinionated. Religion is used as a guide to help a person define himself/herself. People seek to find the ultimate answers to existence and meaning, and these are assumed to be available in religion. People often become rigid in their beliefs because the beliefs come to define the person himself (especially in the relationship to God). Many claimants to religion routinely employ the most vulgar obscenities, thus revealing their truest spiritual stripe.
If the truth be told however, none of us "keep our mouths shut."

Same reason why anyone else can freely voice his or her opinions as long as it is well within his or her rights.
We watch the news everyday. If there is something on there that you don't like, simply turn the TV off. It is the same thing with everything else, you hear a person talk about his religion and you don't like it, then don't take it. Nobody who wants to get converted gets converted.

We could tie on a bandanna over our face and kill your whole family in the name of god. So I personally will never b*tch that someone is excercising their given 2nd Amendment right. Because that is what you yourself have done by asking this if you are non religious why bother to anger yourself by reading other posts. Son I'd worry about myself.

Freedom of Religion
Freedom of Speech
Why can't certain people like you keep their mouths shut? Now, how does that feel?

You don't understand the rudiments of religion; do you?
And Danica, I am willing to bet that you have your own opinion of what is right and wrong; don't you?
See, I have no problem with people professing what they believe. That's what's great about freedom, and if we are going to go down this road of moral relativism, then you are going to increasingly hear more things that you don't like or do not want to hear.

Why doesn't everyone keep their mouth shut about religion all together. No matter what side you on.

Because all people feel that their views are the correct one. Just hold on to your own opinions and never let someone tell you your wrong.

well i suppose they dont have to, but people dont have to listen either. for the most part i agree though, it seems that more and more religion is a tool for division rather than unity
