My 12 year old son wants to watch this tonight on VHS. It has been so long since I have seen it.. I know I loved it when I watched it, but can't remember , are there any sex scenes in it? I know there is guns and violence, what else is there so I know ahead of time.

hard and filled with violence... The full-length-movie-version
is — from my point of view — an adult-movie...

"Cats & Dogs" — Here U'll find an action-movie too,
with agents and people(1) who pretent to be agents.
But it is not that hard.
Back to "The Rock" — When Cage
takes "his injection" and dances in front of the jet-fighters,
that's no stuff for a child. That's also very hard for adults.

There's the part in the beginning where Nicholas Cage's girlfriend is riding him while he's sitting on a chair. I think I'm thinking of the right movie. And then the phone rings, but she isn't naked or anything. Besides that, there is the scene where the first soldier gets exposed to the deadly poison and is quarantined in the room and you see his face start to bubble and kind of melt. Besides that, there is some bloodshed from the killing towards the end and that is about it.

So, are scenes with murder blood and extreme violence more appropriate than sex scenes? Which would you rather him be doing in a few years? Murdering or having sex?

There aren't any graphic sex scenes. Nicky Cage and Vanessa Marcil have a semi-romantic scene. There is a lot of destruction and killing. But he might see just as much on prime time television.....

There is one sex scene I remember w/ the actress playing Nick Cage's girlfriend bouncing up and down on his lap like they are having sex .. I don't remember if they show any of her body or not though ..

In the begging of the movie Nicolas Cage is about to have a love seen with his girlfriend but then he gets a call it is safe for your child to watch it I just watched it with my 7 year old don't worry.

I don't recall there being any sex - just a little making out between Goodspeed and his wife. You know, it's funny how we can live with our children watching violence but we don't want them to see two people making love...Seems ironic doesn't it?

THere was a sex scene. But there wasn't any nudity. She asks him if she likes her pigtails, and Nic says yes and they're naughty. They don't get raunchy or anything though.

i cant remember too well, but the begining has a scene with n cage and his wife - not sure if nude but u may wanna be careful. apart from that its just voilence.
