I have a few ideas of why they would want to conceive but I would like to Know your ideas or maybe your reasons.

I don't believe that the pregency is intended but it just happens becuase you don't care about birth control or anything else for that matter. You are out for yourself and no one else. NOTHING matters to you. I am sure that they are aware of the chances of getting pregent but it's simply a fact that you don't care!! Street drugs are something that you would do anything to get.. steal, cheat, sleep with whoever could get you the stuff. Seriously... NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!!

I don't think it's a matter of a drug abuser wanting to get pregnant, I think it's a matter of sex being there. Using drugs (illegal and otherwise) can prevent someone from using their best judgement about things such as unprotected sex. If sex is something that the person enjoys, or uses as a form of control, they may choose to have sex under the circumstance you have presented. Maybe a better question would be why do they choose to keep the baby?

I don't think it's a question of whether or not they want to be pregnant, or are trying to be pregnant, but I think they accidentally get pregnant because they are so messed up on the drugs, to make the right decision.

women on drugs aren't thinking straight. they don't think about getting pregnant...they really aren't thinking of long-term they are thinking only of the moment. they don't care about anything but the drugs.

why do teens get pregnant?
why do older women?
why do people get pergnant by someone they dont love?
