When first got pressure washer it was very easy to start now it kicks back very hard.

BE CAREFUL! I had one too and there was a recall on it because of a dangerous defect. Check out the recall lists at the Karcher website and see if yours is on it...they will replace it totally free

I had a Honda generator on my boat that got hard to start like that. It turned out to have carbon buildup on the head. Once I cleaned that, it started and ran fine again

I have to put a clamp on the handle to keep the gun in the spray mode and then it is easy to pull start the motor

if its a pressure washer you need to hold the gun/wand until all the air is out of the hose youll know when its out because it will stop "spitting" air and water then start it
