Ok I'm asking this here because I'm worried. i have a doctors appointment in a few days time, although I'm not holding my breath that they'll do anything.
The last few months my periods have been getting shorter and lighter (the last one I barely bled at all), I have dizzy/lightheaded spells, I get really bad headaches, I feel hormonal a lot more than usual, I'm constantly tired, and have occassional bouts of nausea.
I think thats all the symptoms (oh and sudden weight gain.. all on my stomach), the reason I'm not holding my breath about my Doctors helping me is becasue its taken me three weeks just to get pregnancy ruled out by them- I found that out today, so I was wondering, does anyone have any clue what could cause this?

I just want to be prepared before I go to the doctors.
Thanks

Thanks guys. I know from past experience that urine pregnancy tests dont work with me (thats why I didnt believe the negative results I've been getting), the results I had today were from a beta HcG blood test, I have a completely normal amount of hormone in my system!

could be thyroid....whatever it is, it is probably nothing to worry about or the doctors would have been calling you a lot sooner.

Wow hon, that could be a number of different things. I am guessing your are going to your obgyn and not just regular family doctor. If not, that would be a good start. Ask for blood tests for anything they think it could possibly be. Be pushy. It's your money and your health. If they don't help, find another doctor. It could be nothing...or something that needs immediate treatment...and there's no way for anyone on yahoo to give a good guess...good luck.

No sweety, you're pregnant. The doctor's just aren't doing the right test. You're likely not producing enough growth hormone (GH) to get a positive test result. DON'T BE SCARED, ok? Just go see a different doctor--preferably a midwife!

From the symptoms, you're either pregnant or you have some sort of hormonal imbalance or pre-menopause. Have you tried using a home pregnancy test?
