never been to NY but being home for the UN i guess that must make it the capital. Or maybe miami, it is one of the fastest growing cities in the world, it has everything, different people, shore line, it's in the middle of north america, and almost everybody wants to go. Besides better weather than NY

London. It was once the capital of a great empire, and the UK still holds a lot of power in the world. It has already been agreed that the Prime Meridian runs through it, so all other locations on the Earth (at least longitude) are referenced to it. And all time zones of the world are referenced there also. It's roughly centrally located, being nearly opposite the most empty expanse on Earth (the Pacific Ocean).

I think the World should have two capital. One is Tashkent of Uzbekistan because it's seem to be in the middle of The eurasica (that is Africa, Europe and Asia combined; look like a giant continent). The other one should be in Panama City beacuse it's in the center of the two American continent (which seem rather isolated from the other three: Big Pacific on the W and Atlantic on the E)

It should be the capital of Israel, whatever it is (Jerusalem or Tel Aviv). Israel bosses and dictates to the US, despite the latter's pretence to world no.1 slot.

I think that it must be the island of Tristán de Acuña (Tristán da Cunha in Portuguese) .

It is the the place permanently inhabited and furthermost isolated of the world and is located in the southern Atlantic on the parallel 37 degrees.

It is located to 2120 kilometers of the nearer Earth, represented by the island of Santa Elena, the same one where Napoleón Bonaparte died (that distance is similar to the existing one between Havana and New York. Very far, the nearest states are South Africa, Namibia and Angola.

So, if we need a government, that is a good place for it.
