So, I am sick of the red states, I'm sick of the blue states. Can we all be a little of each? We'll call it the Purple Party.

I like that idea - we can take the best of the democrat and republican parties, get rid of all the bs, and just be people. All the two-party system does is polarize this country (evident by all the hate here on YA). It's funny - back in WW2 there was none of this - everyone seemed united in a common goal, and no one really seemed to care about party affiliation. They all loved the country and wanted to save it. There weren't red and blue states back then, just a single, united country. I know it's a pipe dream, but it would be nice to see that happen now. Without WW3 to unite us, of course.

Yes to a party but barnnie is enough purple for on decade so lets go to the clear party .YES clear thinking can accomplish more then any other .Clear sky's will make everyone happy .Clear water will be more fun to swim in and clear windows will make the world a brighter place .Being clear about not wanting a war would be better .Clear on healthcare and solutions like an increased tax on those who can well afford it .THOSE who have seen there way clear to make millions in our economy can afford to pay more for the benefit of the nation .
YES i think a little clear thinking is in order in america and i hope you can agree with me on this .I can see clearly now the rain is gone .I can see all obsticles in my way .Gone are those gray skys that had me blue .ITS gonna be a bright - bright sun shinny day .SO lets be clear purple is out and clear is in .RED

I know what you mean...
today there are either extreme conservatives or extreme liberals...
I myself am middle of the road...conservative about some things but liberal about others.
A purple state would be perfect...people would actually vote for what they believe in not something they've been brainwashed by a large political party to vote for.
