Simply put... Ian Johnson goes out and gets 5 or 6 touchdowns last night and the editor put up a pic and story, THAT HAS BEEN THERE FOR OVER A DAY, about that Quinn kid at Prima Donna Notre Dame... When will editors and writers understand that fans have changed... unless they are directly associated with ND most people don't give a darn any more... they are more attuned to local teams... OR when someone does something outstanding like Johnson did last night, which was OUTSTANDING...
Your editors alienate fans and readers by taking them for idiots and not having a brain. They FORCE teams and players on us and tell us what we should like... Now the editors are the stupid ones...because we have minds of our own...
Either have a talk with whomever edits and selects stories or fire them... THERE... how do you like it with someone telling YOU what to like or do???

yeah I hear you. Same with sports on t.v. I have to mute my t.v. half the time because the announcers suck, especially madden.

I feel your pain brother. I pretty much just watch the games. The bias's have really been on the table in recent years and great teams, coaches and players have been ignored while mostly the attention seekers get the limelight.
It's as if sensationalism is like a drug and the media has to take more and more of it to get an effect each time.

It's the media, they make the stories. If it doesn't interest them, it isn't news.
