When you have no platform, no ideas, and no plans, all you can do is shout childish taunts from the sidelines.
The funniest part is that Bush can't run, and Cheney isn't. Why they waste all of their time on Bush bashing is confusing. I guess it's all they have left.

Clinton had a republican in his cabinet.
Has Bush been open to democratic politicians and ideals?
That's pretty much my only complaint about Bush. I don't think hes a bad President really, but I did think Clinton was a good President. You can't compare them directly because they operated over different terms, where different events took place and the economy of the country was in different transitions.
I am a libertarian/democrat and totally agree with you to some degree. It makes me sick that people take clips of Bush and simply mock him repeatedly. It does not matter to me how perfect of a speaker the President is. I don't even really care if hes a genius, his cabinet is where the expertise is supposed to be. He seems like a nice guy. Big businesses probably drop money into his pocket for political support, but that has been going on for a VERY long time. And as to the war in Iraq, Bush isn't the first one to attack Saddam's regime. He's just the only one who has made the mistake to try and instate democracy there. It did SOUND like a good idea, provided you did not know about the failures of democracies in underdeveloped countries ahead of time. You can't blame Bush for every issue our country encounters.
But, at the same time, I do not appreciate the dogmatic approach that republicans have provided for running the country. It would be wrong to condemn Bush alone for this greivance.

First I would say that if all the conversation out there isn't having an impact, then why did you ask the question in the first place?
I talk about what's happening in politics because I believe it's possible for people to understand that there is something seriously wrong with the way the country is being run. When there's a president in office who is breaking the law and ignoring the constitution the people of America need to do their patriotic duty and take action.
It's my assertion that neither the Democratic party or the Republican party is going down hill but rather, democracy and freedom. Trouble is, there are still people out there who would rather listen to talking points instead of doing the research necessary to find out the truth.

Agreed calling him a moron is moronic. Even worse is asking the full of the USG incompetent. for sure they don't look. They perform on a large funds with a suitable sense of loyalty and nicely well-known operations layout. To accuse George Bush promptly is folly. in view that no human being has any information. All we've is 0.5 truths and problem count number with reference to the affair that's both obfuscated or downright categorised. final analysis - there's a lot extra to the tale than the effective neat equipment the Planet Earth has been served. that's all. We do in basic terms not recognize what all handed off and in no way will. So I agree, as liberals we ought to continuously stay targeted on the genuine topics that result this usa and that's voters. People need to rant, especially if it is what they believe. The main problem is we have been fed the same stories over and over until the majority believe the official version of events. Some people do not believe the bull that we are brainwashed with. The truth needs to be out. Is Bush is evil? are the wars illegal? are our soldiers at war and getting killed? for what? If it is about terrorism, then wheres the proof? where are these weapons of mass destruction etc. etc. etc.
If you want to know who started these wars then ask yourself who will gain the most!
Information is suppressed enough so lets all rant!

A good question and your comments are valid. The only "fly in the ointment" is that this negative Bush movement that is conducted by the left-wing media and their sponsors has been obscuring the truth. If a lie is told often enough with enough half truths and innuendos, it creates a little doubt as to what is true. Already public satisfaction with Bush's job performance has gone to new lows.

The Democratic Party is in a state of long-term decline. Those in the party who can lead it out of this condition are detested by the party "activists". These "activists" are still living the dreams of the '60s and the country as a whole has no interest in going down that road again. As long as these so-called "activists" control the direction of the party it is destined to have less and less influence.
The childish ranting you refer to is primarily an indulgence of young and ignorant people who can find nothing more productive to do with their time. Their principal purpose seems to be to reinforce their own belief systems and that of their fellow ranters. They are irrelevant and of no consequence in the scheme of things. I'm certain they know this and find it terribly frustrating - explaining some of the more outrageous noise coming from them.

The same could be said about any group of people protesting something that they don't believe in. Even Bush supporters. I hate to break it to you, but there is ALWAYS going to be someone out there who just flat out disagrees with you. Just get over it- let it go. It's never going to stop so why let it bother you? You stand up for what you believe in, and others will do the same. There is no right or wrong here.

Of course, there are those who argue non-childishly, but many of the informal argument spots (like here) are filled with childish rants. ...on both sides, mind you. But I see a frantic frenetic hatred for Bush--or what he stands for--in a way that does not seem to exude so much from Bush defenders. ...although Clinton-haters had some similarities to Bush haters, no?
